Eligibility Criteria:
For Master’s Program:
- Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree or be in the final year at a recognized university
For PhD Program:
- Must have a Master’s degree in a related field from a recognized university
- Students with degrees in humanities, social sciences, or business must show strong background/training in relevant technical areas
English Language Requirement:
- Instruction at Skoltech is in English
- Accepted English test scores:
- TOEFL iBT: 80
- TOEFL ITP: 450
- IELTS: 6.0
- Test scores must be valid (within two years)
- No English test required if your previous degree was taught in English
Note: GRE is not required, but a high score can improve your chances
How to Apply:
Step 1: Submit Online Application via Skoltech Portal
Include the following documents:
- Motivation letter explaining your goals and interests
- CV (Resume) with education and experience
- Two recommendation letters (in English or with English translations)
- Diploma and/or academic transcripts
- English test results (TOEFL or IELTS)
- Optional: GRE scores
Step 2: Online Test
- Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a test related to their chosen field
Step 3: Selection Weekend
- Top candidates from the test will be invited to interviews and other evaluation activities at Skoltech
Deadlines:
